Further growth potential is very high as our client is on the way to becoming Australia's preferred marine solutions company.Duties:Carry out safety inspections to ensure compliance of vessels with statutory/international requirements.Implement and customize safety culture with various clients.Monitor safe loading, discharging, supervising, and carriage of various cargo as per standards prescribed in IMSBC code.Conduct ISM/ISPS/MLC audits of the vessels.Support onboard management for various systems for effective port operations.Conduct pre-purchase inspections.Provide training onboard at the management level on ships.Conduct incident investigations on ships.Perform inspections on the ships in compliance with terminal requirements.Conduct insurance surveys locally for clients.What we are looking for:Ship Masters Certificate of Competency is required.At least 2 years' experience in a related role.Experience in the marine industry.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Punctual, enthusiastic, and hardworking.Great troubleshooting knowledge for lifesaving & firefighting equipment.Work Authorisation:Should have full working rights in Australia (preferred).Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $115,000 - $120,000 per yearSchedule:Traveling will be part of the job & required to travel in Queensland & NSW state.Attend vessels calling port of Brisbane.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Marine Surveyor?Do you hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)?What's your expected annual base salary?#J-18808-Ljbffr
