We are now offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst who has specific experience in successfully grandfathering existing and delivering new lending products within the financial services industry. In this role, as a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of requirements, user stories, and coordinating and supporting problem solving to promote intuitive solutions which are important to our member customers. The successful candidate would work collaboratively with business representatives, Scrum masters, Product Owners, and technology leads who perform due diligence to add value and drive solution outcomes across the business. Furthermore, as a Senior Business Analyst, you will drive the Community of Practice maturity across the team whilst providing support, guidance and leadership to Business Analysts. Your key responsibilities will include: Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate and support new and in-flight initiatives in ideation, discovery and delivery Lead delivery scoping, compilation of key story / requirements, customer journey and process changes with key stakeholders to understand the rationale for change and what they are looking to achieve. Identify risks, interdependencies and cross-functional business and technology impacts across our portfolio streams and business functions. Work with design and frontline to understand what problems our customers are experiencing. Understand what legal and compliance obligations apply, where required engage with business owner to ensure compliance is met. Work closely with our product owners and program directors to ensure best quality, the efficient evolution of work, and alignment to priorities (OKRs and key performance targets) Create or update existing business blueprints (including service blueprint and process design) to capture member customer touch points. Identify metrics to be implemented to measure performance of epics and features and review metrics for recently released epics and features to verify if the anticipated benefits have been achieved Contribute to the planning and support business readiness activities. Be an active member of the Business Analyst practice to drive improvements in the Business Analyst capability. Mentor and develop other Business Analysts in the team. About you As a successful Senior Business Analyst, you offer solid experience working across lending projects and have demonstrated an ability to build and maintain exceptional relationships with stakeholders. Your strength is your communication style which allows you translate technical data to non-technical audiences. To be successful in the role, you must have the following qualifications or skills: A seasoned BA with solid experience in all facets of business analysis. Strong background in delivery focused environments and extensive experience collaborating across Business and IT delivery teams Experience working within a customer-focused team in mortgages, loans and credit card environment. Be an engaging communicator, comfortable negotiating and influencing your key stakeholder management group. Demonstrate strong ability to build relationships with customer service and product teams, including influence and negotiate for a better outcome. Adaptable and capable in dealing with complexities and ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment. Experience managing multiple activities and issues across numerous projects in a high paced environment. Experience in requirements management, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Strong Agile methodology certifications/experience (Scrum, SAFe, etc) and proactive promoter of lean, agile best practices Essential skills for the role: (Experience in at least one of the following) Financial services industry experience Customer centric product development Process analysis and documentation Technical interface specification development Data management/mapping Experience working with customer relationship management software, especially Salesforce CRM, would be highly regarded Completion of Analyst Certification such as BABOK, Lean Six Sigma Why you’ll love working with us: People First Bank – our new brand – says exactly what we’re all about: people.
