About the Care Home
Bupa Campbelltown is a delightful care home located in a quiet residential suburb near the Adelaide foothills. It is close to the local community with neighbouring church, schools, shops, hospital and transport links nearby. It consists of 59 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

Here's what you'll do:
* Be the fun facilitator: You'll help residents explore their interests, both within the care home and beyond. From art classes and gardening clubs to day trips and movie nights, you'll make sure there's something for everyone.
* Social butterfly extraordinaire: Whether it's a lively game of bingo or a quiet chat over afternoon tea, you'll be the friendly face who connects residents and fosters a sense of belonging.
* More than just activities: You'll be a supportive companion, assisting with daily living like mealtimes and outings, and offering emotional support to those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
* Resident champion: Your voice matters! You'll gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to ensure activities truly hit the mark.
* Team player: You'll collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.
* Hygiene hero: Keeping things clean and safe is essential. You'll follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy environment.
* Catering crewmate: You'll lend a hand with plating and serving meals, adhering to food safety standards and monitoring resident preferences.
What we're looking for:

* Can-do spirit: You're flexible, adaptable, and always up for a challenge.
* Creative spark: You're brimming with ideas to make every day an adventure.
* Excellent communication: You connect easily with residents and colleagues, building trust and rapport. Fluent in Italian – preferably as a second or first language.
* Team player: You collaborate effectively and support others with a smile.
* Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
* First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one)
* Australian driver's licence preferable
