This role also requires managing survey data and related systems and producing reports as required to support operational plans.We would love you to have: Sound knowledge of forest flora, fauna and habitat (particularly threatened species and communities) relevant to forests of eastern Australia.Appropriate/relevant tertiary qualifications, experience and/or training.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in flora and fauna survey techniques and habitat assessments, and use/maintenance of a variety of survey and related equipment.Knowledge of forest management, including silviculture, fire management and harvesting.Well-developed interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.Proven organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines.Knowledge and understanding of field ecology.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in flora and fauna monitoring techniques and habitat assessments, and use/maintenance of a variety of survey and related equipment.For further information about the role please contact Joshua Brown, Senior Field Ecologist on:.
