Truck Operator George Fisher Mine – Production Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia Reference Number: 36299 Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking multiple Truck Operators in the Production Department at George Fisher Mine.
This position is residentially based in Mt Isa. The RoleWe are looking for individuals to join us in the role of a Truck Operator within the Production Department.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be required to move blasted material as per the mine plan safely and efficiently, minimizing airborne dust in the decline and primary tramways.
Operate water trucks within design parameters and as per the standard operating procedures.
Deliver the required level of service in order to achieve business targets.
When the truck is not being utilized, the truck operator is to assist in other operational roles as required.
To contribute positively to the team environment, operate safely, and assist with delivering on budget and targets.
The roster for this role is on a 7 on 7 off day and night continuous shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Delivery of load, haul and dump of broken rock to a designated locationPerform pre-start checks, hazard identification, PRAs.Washing down equipment as required and conducting handover with cross shift.Communicate accurate and timely information to Mine Control, Supervisor, Leading Hand, and Cross Shift as appropriate (e.g.
