We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. 3x Fixed Term Positions until 31 July 2025 Full-time at 80 hours per fortnight including ADO Grade 2 Medical Scientist Classification (RY4-RY7) Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Project The Department Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. This partnership is aligned with the Victorian Government’s Pathology system reform. The Pathology programs are working in partnership to ensure we meet the future demand and continue to provide high quality pathology services for the patients and community across the health services. In the Partnership, pathology services are provided from two main laboratories (The Alfred in Prahran and Monash Medical Centre in Clayton), and six branch laboratories (Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Sandringham Hospital, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospital). In addition, there are 20 collection centres and rooms spread across South East Melbourne and South Gippsland, with the furthest one located in Yarram. The Position Summary The Test Analyst reports to the Test Manager and will work very closely with various team members including, the Test Coordinator, Business Analysts, Technical team and SMEs to support the different testing activities across all phases. The role involves quality and test advocacy and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. The role requires a professional that has experience with pathology laboratory practices, and test processes required to meet standards and assurance.
