We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Career Medical Officers to join our team at Bowral & District Hospital in the Southern Highlands of NSW. As a CMO, you will provide high-quality anaesthetic care, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to the growth of the Anaesthetic Department. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and participate in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in a SWSLHD facility under your care.
2. Assist in the provision of the Anaesthetics Department at Bowral & District Hospital through medical management, clinical direction, and collaboration with other Anaesthetics and facility staff.
3. Provide supervised perioperative and anaesthetic care to patients in the operating theatres, designated sedation/procedure areas, anaesthetic clinic, and anaesthetic consultation service.

Requirements
* MBBS or equivalent, current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Minimum 3 years Anaesthesia experience and previous experience in critical disciplines such as Intensive Care, Anaesthetic, or Emergency Medicine.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment.
* Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, clinical judgement, and clinical expertise.
* Demonstrated teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting and in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Demonstrated participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education/continuing professional development.
