About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with clinical expertise in acute care to join our Occupational Therapy team at Box Hill Hospital. The position involves providing direct clinical care, including complex decision making to support efficient discharge planning and enhance patient flow. The successful applicant will provide leadership and high-quality supervision to foster staff development and the provision of evidence based occupational therapy services. This position is well supported by the grade 4 clinical lead occupational therapists and the occupational therapy manager.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* AHPRA Registration
* Demonstrated clinical expertise in acute occupational therapy
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A strong commitment to high quality care
* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
* The ability to work as part of a diverse team
* Post graduate qualification or progression to completion
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
