The Compass Group Casual Pool team are currently recruiting Sous Chefs for Melbourne.
THE ROLE:
4. Deliver high-quality function and à la carte food.
5. Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition.
6. Clean and maintain kitchen premises.
7. Ensure all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard for all health & safety protocols whilst wastage is kept to a minimum.
8. Ensure OH&S compliance is achieved.
THE PERSON:
9. Hold a minimum certificate 3 in commercial cookery
10. Experience in the role of Sous Chef is essential
11. Experience in high end 5 star premium dining, corporate or boardroom settings, a la-carte VIP service, hatted restaurants, conference/events, venues or airline lounges is desirable.
12. Exceptional communication, time management and organisational skills.
13. Ability to work independently or as part of a professional team, as well as the ability to adapt and deliver to a changing environment in a professional manner.
14. Ability to work in a fast paced and high demanding role while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
15. Strong attention and respect for OH&S, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
