Each role requires an average of 38 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours as needed, especially as we extend our dining hours and expand our restaurant space.

Position Summary:
That Yellow Door Cafe is hiring two experienced Restaurant Managers to lead our team during an exciting period of growth. With extensive renovations underway to expand our dining hours and enhance our restaurant facilities, we’re looking for hands-on, detail-oriented managers with a positive work attitude. Each manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly and continues to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant management operations, ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless dining experience.
2. Customer Satisfaction: Deliver outstanding food and beverage service, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
3. Quality and Vendor Management: Regularly assess product quality, research and establish relationships with new vendors, and manage inventory efficiently.
4. Team Supervision and Training: Supervise shifts, organize staffing, and train staff on service practices, customer care, and cafe protocols.
5. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that health, sanitation, and safety standards are met, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for staff and patrons.
6. Financial Oversight: Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports, focusing on revenue, expenses, and areas for operational improvement.
7. Community Engagement and Brand Promotion: Actively promote That Yellow Door Cafe within the community, utilizing social media and participating in local events.
8. Strategic Role in Expansion: Assist in the planning and implementation of our dining and facility extensions, bringing your expertise to support our growth strategy.
9. Skills and experience:
o A Diploma of Hospitality Management or Business, or equivalent qualification. Employment experience of 3-years may be considered in lieu of the formal qualifications; and
o Two years relevant employment experience.
