The Role
Based out of our Mt Piper Power Station you will contribute by leading and mentoring a highly productive team to safely deliver world class reliability and availability. You will be expected to meet present and future operational requirements, and deliver plant, infrastructure, land, and environmental maintenance and projects with a continuous improvement and reliability philosophy for routine, defect and Outage projects.
Your role requirements will include, but not limited to:
* Lead and manage a high performing Facilities Management Team
* Support regular reliability reviews across operations, maintenance, assets, and facilities management to drive collaborative review and improvement
* Provide guidance and governance to the budget
* Provide Subject Matter Expertise, Leadership and Continuous Improvement of the Work Management Standard and associated Computerised Maintenance Management System, Project Management and Business Intelligence tools
* Foster a culture of reliability, continuous improvement, and collaboration from the stakeholders to understand causes of failure
* Set annual budgets and collaborate with the Maintenance Leader for the development of long-term budgets for service contracts
* Support reliability reviews of maintenance performance across operations, maintenance and assets to facilitate and drive a collaborative review and improvement process
Qualifications, skills and experience
* Tertiary or Trade qualifications in an Engineering, Science or related discipline or equivalent qualifications and/or industry experience in a related field
* Extensive high-performance leadership, mentoring, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and change management skills
* An understanding of project management principles and its application to projects and plant outage management
* Financial management, budget preparation, cost control and reporting experience is highly desirable
* Highly developed use of a CMMS to optimise data analysis and reporting of maintenance and performance data
