Salary: Available upon enquiry. About the Role: We are seeking a Graduate to Mid-Level Speech Pathologist to join our client's team.
This role includes conducting patient assessments, developing individual treatment plans, and collaborating with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
You will administer therapy, monitor patient progress, and ensure that patients and their families are informed about new treatments and techniques.
Flexibility in hours is available, including opportunities to work during weekends or public holidays.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and prevent language, speech, and swallowing disorders.Communicate effectively with patients and liaise with family members, physicians, and educators to design effective treatment plans.Utilize established therapies alongside innovative techniques to deliver the best care.Stay current with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and building professional networks.Educate patients and families on speech disorders and available therapies.Maintain detailed records of patient history and progress.Provide mentorship and workshops to speech therapy students.Evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy programs.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.Relevant license and certification from Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).Experience with specific disorders and age groups may be required.Strong understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.Familiarity with database management software.Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities.Willingness to conduct research and travel for professional development.Benefits: Fuel compensation for travelPaid leave over the Christmas periodFlexible working hours with availability for weekend or holiday shiftsOffice perks, including coffee and snacksReferral incentive programMore About Our Client: Our client is a respected healthcare provider dedicated to offering high-quality speech therapy services.
