As a Sales Executive at Emantra, you’ll be expected to drive growth in the public sector market. Your job will be to build deep relationships with government executives, to have a detailed understanding of their digital needs and be able to match these with Emantra’s products, competencies and capacity. The RoleAs a Sales Executive, your main focus will be on delivering Emantra’s revenue growth within the public sector market of Canberra. This entails:
Canberra located, permanent position.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Australian and State public sector market.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior government decision-makers to understand their challenges, procurement process and digital needs.
Help build and execute a sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Navigate procurement processes, in particular panel arrangements.
Communicate the value proposition of Emantra’s solutions, showcasing how we can address and adapt to the client’s challenges.
Collaborate with Emantra leadership in Brisbane.
To diligently monitor opportunities published on panels and portals.
To anticipate go-to-market activity by review of expiring contracts and forward procurement schedules.
To nurture Emantra’s partners and pursue mutual opportunities.
To record sales activity in Hubspot.
To stay attuned to cyber news and events, new solutions and the emerging needs of the market.
Keep abreast of competitor offerings and activity.
Contribute to Emantra’s high-level pre-sales analysis and decision process.
Ongoing commercial management of ongoing accounts.
The Ideal Person
A sales professional with a proven track record in closing material managed-service contracts with government agencies. Target opportunities are typically worth $10,000+ per month recurring revenue with a three year term.
Professional and presentable at Board and DepSec Level.
Full understanding of Emantra’s product set, selling themes and value proposition.
Solid understanding of the technologies behind Emantra’s managed IT services.
You’ll be given a detailed onboarding and induction process, including time with the financial and technical teams in Brisbane.
Possess a deep understanding of Australian and State government markets and processes.
Excel at building relationships at all levels.
Team orientated, excellent people and communication skills, a self-starter.
You will need to find opportunities and map the market to secure wins.
