This is an excellent opportunity to join a vessel technical team as a professional and contribute to providing solution-based services to our valued clients.Reporting to the Technical Superintendent, this role is accountable for supervising contractors, maintenance and workshop staff allocated to Bhagwan Marine fleet of vessels in compliance with Class Survey rules, regulatory and statutory regulations through planned maintenance programs and vessel survey requirements.Your duties will include but are not limited to:Provide leadership and direction to Vessel Engineers relating to vessel operations, vessel maintenance, refits and management.Supervise and coordinate vessel repairs and maintenance including shore-side labour appointment.Supervise workshop staff and contractors in day to day maintenance tasks.Assist Superintendent in supervising dry docking of vessels.Generate Engineering related purchase requisitions/purchase orders vetting and approving for best practices.Compliance of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).Maintenance and contractor planning.Develop and maintain strong relationships with service providers.Be a hands-on role model to workshop staff and vessel crews.To be successfully considered for this role you must have:Knowledge of NSCV/USL/RAV & Class legislation requirements.Strong written and communication skills.Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the Marine Industry.Must have Marine Engineering or Trade Qualification with some marine experience.To Apply:If you believe you meet the position's requirements and wish to be considered for the role, click on the ‘Quick Apply' button to submit your detailed resume.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
