QLD Government $48.90 + super per hour ASAP Start Inala Exciting opportunity to join this amazing, supportive team in a Housing Service Centre where you will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to customers with complex needs. The Role Respond to customers via the telephone and face to face, undertake customer interviews, make referrals to support service agencies, assess new social housing and private housing assistance applications from customers. Maintain accurate customer and property records using the Microsoft Suite and internal IT systems with a high level of accuracy. Manage tenancy arrangements, allocations, changes of tenancy and vacancies and liaise with other housing providers ensuring departmental compliance Conduct home visits to properties and investigate and facilitate any tenancy disputes and complaints. Manage property maintenance and conduct property inspections. Manage and monitor rent and maintenance arrears, rent assessments, payment arrangements, refunds and collections You The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a customer facing role. You will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven customer service experience (telephone and face to face) Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence to quickly learn additional IT systems High attention to detail and able to work independently Excellent communication skills High confidentiality, empathy and resilience to deal with people in distress Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in a community services role is highly desirable, however not essential A National Criminal History check will be required before placement Drivers License Apply To be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft word format.
