As a classroom teacher at Echuca College, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum areas or other curriculum programs within the school.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs, planning high-impact teaching strategies, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
* Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
* Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
* Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions;
* Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Requirements:
* Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
* Qualifications to teach and/or demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
