Job Title: Health Promotion Officer
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time & Part Time opportunities available
Classification: Health Education Officer - Graduate
Remuneration: $69,050.00 - $100,547.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, implement and evaluate projects from the Health Promotion Operational Plan.
* Focal points for tobacco control, healthy weight and preventing falls in older people with a focus on health equity and the social determinants of health.
About Your Role:
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Health Promotion team to develop and implement health promotion strategies and programs that promote health equity and address health disparities.
Minimum Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, health education, or a related discipline.
* Experience in health promotion, community development, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of health equity and social determinants of health.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
