Ready for a new nursing adventure?
Bupa Aged Care invites you to be at the heart of it in Tugun, Queensland.
As Australia's largest regional aged care provider, we strive to make life better for thousands, including yours. You will make a difference to our residents and their families, while being supported to excel in your role.
Bupa Tugun is a modern care home situated in the picturesque beachside suburb of Tugun on the Gold Coast. The facility offers 163 beds, with high and low residential, respite, and dementia care units. Our primary goal is to prioritize the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents.
The role involves supporting Carer Companions (also known as Carer at Bupa) who adopt a 'Person First' approach in care planning and assisting new residents and their families with settling into the home and transitioning into an aged care setting. They will coordinate admissions, respond to queries and concerns from residents and family members, advise new residents of additional services, and ensure these services are delivered. The Carer Companion will also assist with meal service by escorting residents to the dining room and explaining how the meal service works.
We continuously seek opportunities to improve, and you will play a pivotal role in pursuing best-quality outcomes for our valued residents. This is a Permanent Full-Time role, Monday to Friday.
