National manufacturing organisation, this role requires an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Manager to oversee a nationwide portfolio and implement requirements in accordance with the global strategy. This is a leadership role across an organisation that has a national footprint, requiring a high level of expertise. Driving the group wide initiative, ensuring base line standard is met and the environment and sustainability function within the business is represented across Australia.
As the Environment & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for groupwide reporting within a senior level, monitoring and management of data, policy, procedure and EMS improvements, liaising with site personnel and contractors on environmental issues and ensuring best practice of environmental and sustainable management, including training and coaching to the exec team and business leaders.

* Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline
* Extensive experience in managing environmental and sustainable site requirements over manufacturing organisations
* Ability to set strategy across multiple sites
* A practical approach to environmental management
* The ability to drive change and performance at a national level and to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues
