Applicants must be based in Perth, Western Australia.Key Responsibilities:Leads the technology components for the GSR and delivery of one or more concurrent activities within the program, utilising suitable approaches/methodologies for the given problem or opportunity.Manages the delivery of high-quality gaming solutions, from requirements to deployment, that meet the complex evolving needs of the business and align to the business strategy.Working within Lotterywest procurement framework, offers advice on the appropriate SLA/KPI standards for the application in the Gaming System Ecosystem.Manages and leads cross functional, internal, and external initiative teams, ensuring a continued focus on achieving goals and outcomes within the scope of the GSR program.Evaluates technical risk and provides technical expertise to enable quick decisions on scheduled and team-agreed timelines.Responsible for aligning the gaming system change structure to the organisation’s enterprise architecture modelling.Represents the Sponsor (or equivalent) and the Gaming System Renewal team in initiative discussions and day-to-day decision making.Coordinates technical deployments for the gaming system with the assigned technology teams and solution providers.Maintains awareness of objectives, scope, plan, risk, budget and quality to determine whether to directly resolve or escalate to the suitable person or forum.Develops and manages effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.Undertakes other duties as required.Essential Requirements:Demonstrated experience planning, delivering, and embedding technology initiatives.Specialised knowledge and experience in development, testing, implementation, operation, and support of real-time systems within gaming, lotteries, or comparable industries.Demonstrated ability to take business challenges, opportunities or concepts and develop them into detailed requirements and proposals, including testing/validating whether it could/should be implemented.Experience working with a changing technology ecosystem, and managing change in consultation with the architecture governance teams to provide holistic support for technology integration.Proven experience in the methodologies and standards required for effective applications systems operation, development, testing and implementation.Experience in business transformation practice, process, technology and strategy in a relevant area of experience.High level interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to build relationships and liaise effectively across all levels with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion.
