Production Planner & Scheduler | Pharmaceuticals
About the Company
Our client is a Perth-based start-up pharmaceutical manufacturing facility that provides contract manufacturing services. They are the leading supplier of sterile liquid pharmaceuticals not only in Australia but also globally. They are supported by a successful national pharmaceutical parent company, with multiple organisations under their umbrella.
About the Role
As the production planner and scheduler, your main responsibility will be to create and maintain a master production schedule that will form the basis for the supply chain operations. You will forecast from 0 to 24 months, working closely with the manufacturing plant.
Duties & responsibilities include:
* Monitor and assess changes in product demand
* Be able to adapt production plans quickly and accordingly
* Drive efficiency and accuracy in the planning process
* Work closely with cross-functional teams
* Identify potential supply chain issues
* Be able to resolve issues proactively
* Escalate critical matters when necessary
* Collaborate with various teams to optimize inventory levels while meeting customer service objectives
About You
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning
* Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
* Tertiary qualification in supply chain or APICS certification would be an advantage
* High level of proficiency in MS Office in particular Excel
* Ability to work in a fast-paced high-through put environment
* Be able to work independently, adapt and learn quickly
* Start-up environment, so be able to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
