About the role
Nurses classified at this level provide nursing services in health service settings. Nurses working at this level develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. At this level the nurse accepts accountability for their own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others.
Qualifications
Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and holds a current practising certificate. • Hold a qualification in mental health nursing equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
