They are seeking a dedicated, adaptable and introspective mental health Occupational therapist supporting children in the Rockhampton community.
Full time and part time roles available. Relocation assistance available!

Your Role:
* Maintain a client case load of 16-20 paediatric clients (per week), identifying and working toward client goals to achieve successful case outcomes for clients.
* Provide trauma informed, developmentally sensitive and culturally safe counselling and support to children and young people who have experienced SA or have been involved in HSB.
* Encourage and strengthening supportive relationships with adult caregivers
* Enhance psychosocial outcomes for children and young people impacted by trauma
How you will be supported:
Access a minium of $1300 PD allowance per year for further training
Recieve specialised trauma informed care training & learn to work with the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy model.
With a very supportive operational management team providing ad hoc support, you will undertake a structured 6 week onboarding process with a gradual increase of caseload, and access to the Employee Assistance Program for counselling support, you will be set up for success in your role!
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* At least two (2) years’ experience working with children, young people and their families in similar roles
* Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland
* AHPRA registration
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Drivers licence and own vehicle
