The role We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) Specialist to join our team.
This role sits at the Group level where our People and Culture team delivers solutions and strategies to all our businesses.
Reporting to the FAR Program Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the organisation's FAR compliance, culture of accountability and integrity.

You'll be primarily based at our Toowong office with flexibility to work from home one day per week once settled into the role.

Position accountabilities Maintain A&G's FAR framework, which includes a policy, procedures, templates, training and guidance materials, and other resources.
Analyze and review accountabilities, reasonable steps and internal policies and procedures for opportunities to improve business operations.
Prepare risk and compliance reporting, including notification to the regulator relating to the registration/de-registration of Accountable Persons.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
Coordinate and/or deliver FAR training to A&G's Accountable Persons and other senior stakeholders.
Support the reviews of Accountable Persons' frameworks for complying with the FAR.
Provide considered and pragmatic advice and guidance to A&G's Accountable Persons and their teams on the FAR.
Support the identification, triage and escalation of potential breaches of the FAR accountability obligations and engagement with senior stakeholders and Legal as needed.
Contribute to the team's management of its risks, including its controls and compliance arrangements.
Collaborate with the broader A&G team to ensure consistent and effective support to Accountable Persons and their teams.
What experience you'll bring Proven experience in law, governance, regulatory change, compliance or risk management.A highly professional approach, exhibited in your verbal and written communications.Adaptability and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.A detail-oriented, hands-on approach, with problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively and building trust with diverse stakeholders.Experience in a large, complex organisation in the financial services industry is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in business, Law or another relevant field desired.
