Your Role:
o Provide individual assessment and intervention within our clinic and community settings.
o Work with the neurodivergent community, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, communication delays, social difficulties, mental health and wellbeing support.
o An ability to undertake a variety of assessments and create long and short- term therapy plans.
o An understanding of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is beneficial, but not necessary.
o Great communication skills and time-management skills to communicate with all stakeholders, and to manage a varied caseload.
o A family and client-centred neuro-affirming approach, with a passion for achieving positive and lasting outcomes for clients. Demonstrated expertise in neuro-affirming and strengths-based approaches to therapy.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
o Dedication to delivering high quality evidence-based services & commitment to ongoing PD.
Your Professional Requirements:
o Current tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
o Current Registration with Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA
o Current Professional Indemnity Cover
o Current Australian driver’s license and reliable vehicle for mobile visits when required.
