Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of building projects, from pre-design to post-construction, ensuring alignment with scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
* Lead, manage, and monitor the performance of the Capital Works Team to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Maintain effective stakeholder engagement, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
* Negotiate and deliver value-for-money solutions, leveraging your professional expertise to guide discussions and decision-making.
* Conduct project audits and manage reporting to track performance, identify variances, and ensure compliance with quality assurance processes.
Successful candidate:
* A strong background in capital works delivery, ideally within the construction or government sector.
* Expertise in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
* Demonstrated leadership skills to guide teams and drive performance.
* Proficiency in contract management, including traditional and non-traditional systems.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, ensuring value-driven outcomes.
* A deep understanding of quality assurance and project reporting processes.
