The position
Act as team head and be responsible in overseeing commercial activities and operations of the team and lead the team to manage the provision of timely and accurate corporate services. Key responsibilities include managing and strengthening business relationship with clients through various commercial activities and leading the team to ensure deliverables are up to expectations.
Key responsibilities
Client Service and Relationship Management
1. Act as the Head of the team to ensure our client portfolio are well managed by the team
2. Responsible for complex requests directly and delegates the operational work to the team
3. Developing our corporate services client base via establishing and enhancing long term relationships with all clients and business partners
4. Manage the client portfolio by offering our solutions to match the needs of our clients
5. Proactively identifying new business /upsell and cross-sell opportunities with our existing clients
6. Oversee overall deal activity by leading the team including acquisitions, divestments, capex, refinancing or any other relevant matters
Business Development
7. Responsible for an assigned target of new revenue
8. Maintains and grows excellent relations with existing clients and intermediaries, resulting in the identification of commercial opportunities, upsell and delivery of increased revenues from new and existing clients
9. Attends meetings of prospects and intermediaries to present Intertrust and its services
Team Management
10. Supervises a team to provide professional trustee and other financial services to clients
11. Proactively conducts regular internal meetings to plan WIP and on-going projects and deadlines with the team
12. Empower and coach team members to solve specific and complex client requests or problems
13. Coaches Associate Director and team members on performance, completes employee performance evaluations and recommends appropriate career development plans and rewards
Compliance
14. Ensures proper level of Compliance awareness among staff in the team
15. Trains, coaches and manages the team in fully complying with the Intertrust client acceptance process and procedures
16. Ensures active monitor transaction of the trusts under management
17. Monitors budget annual compliance reviews and review and sign off on the compliance reviews performed by the team
Required knowledge, skill set and experience
18. Degree holder in Law / Business Administration or other similar disciplines
19. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a Legal, Accounting or Governance role with relevant accounting or legal qualifications
20. Preferable for services provider or similar industry experience
21. Works well under pressure, delivers results and meets customer expectations
22. Works collaboratively and enjoys working with and influencing people
23. Strong verbal and written communication skills
24. Self-starter with good planning and organizational skills
25. Highly principled and able to resolve issues
