Moil Medical Centre is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic General Practitioners with an interest in Skin Cancer management, holistic general practice, and an eagerness to learn about Coordinated Veterans Care for ADF Veterans.

Consultant Dermatologist, Dr. Dev Tilakaratne (MBBS, FACD), provides support and mentoring to Moil Medical Centre doctors to provide skin cancer surveillance and skin cancer procedures. Doctors are also supported from this perspective by an experienced, dedicated Nurse Melanographer.
The clinic also has a longstanding history of providing exemplary care for Veterans, with an established base an well-established processes in providing Coordinated Veterans Care (CVC) for Veterans. Additionally, a range of supplementary services including Podiatry, Psychology, Dietetics and on-site pathology assist in providing holistic care for patients.
For decades, Moil Medical Centre has been a training site for Australian Defence Force GP Registrars, who remain a source of dynamic energy within the practice and contribute heavily to the workplace culture.
What’s the role?
To provide high quality, evidence-based, skin cancer surveillance and management with integrity, under the mentorship and support of a consultant Dermatologist and Nurse Melanographer, as well as holistic primary health care services to the people of Darwin and the surrounding areas.
You’ll be part of a passionate team of health professionals working closely with a dynamic management team that stays abreast of regulatory changes and understands the importance of robust practice processes and a workplace culture that encourages a multidisciplinary team-based approach.

What do you need to apply?
* Current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Fellow of RACGP or ACCRM
* Two to five years previous experience in general practice
* A passion for processes and system optimisation and a desire to work closely with non-medical staff and contribute to workplace culture
* Willingness to contribute to GP registrar supervision
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
