This remit for the role encompasses Learn to Swim, Children's and Schools Programs, Swim Squad, and Aquatic Operations (lifeguards). The Aquatics Delivery Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality, commercially sustainable programs aligned with the SSCT priorities, values, and vision. This role includes financial management, service quality, risk management, customer experience and optimisation of our aquatic assets.As Aquatics Delivery Manager your primary responsibilities will include:Developing and delivering high quality aquatic programs meeting the needs and expectations of the range of aquatic users and hirer groupsEnsuring exceptional customer experience while managing risk and safetyDriving culture improvements within aquatic teamsCoordinating training needs and maintain mandatory qualificationsMaintaining positive relationships with external stakeholdersAddressing programming inefficiencies and recommend solutionsDeveloping a customer-centric service cultureManaging and reporting against budget profit & lossOverseeing performance and development of aquatic programs team members and direct reportsCollaborating with SSCT teams in ensuring quality, safe, accessible aquatic programming and outcomesRequired skills and Qualifications:Required:Significant experience in multi-program management (preferably within a sporting/aquatic environment)Strong business and commercial acumenDemonstrated time management skills and ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and communication skillsWell-developed supervisory and conflict resolution skillsConfident computer skills, including operational application across the Microsoft suiteVictorian Employee Working with Children CheckFirst Aid/CPR QualificationsDesirable:Teacher of Water SafetyTeacher of Water Safety extensionsWhy is this a great place to work?You will love working at the State Sports Centres.
