What you'll do: Role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane We have a newly created role in our Supply Chain team as a DC Systems Optimisation Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Distribution Centre (DC) Operations, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising the use of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) across our national distribution centre network.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse systems to drive operational excellence and innovation.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the optimisation and efficient utilisation of WMS and WCS across the national distribution network Work closely with the Technology team to ensure seamless integration and operation of warehouse system Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes, ensuring maximum productivity, accuracy, and efficiency in warehouse operations Identify opportunities for system enhancements and work on implementing solutions to address operational challenges Provide expert guidance and support on all matters related to WMS and WCS, ensuring the systems are functioning optimally Ensure accurate system reporting and data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
What you'll bring: 5-7 years of experience in warehouse systems management or similar technical role Extensive experience with Manhattan WMS and Knapp warehouse control systems Proven expertise in warehouse systems management and optimisation Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Willingness to travel interstate and work outside business hours when needed.
Bachelors' degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field Why us?
