HOPE Senior Clinician - Warragul
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a HOPE Senior Clinician to join our regional Mental Health HOPE team on a part time, parental leave relief basis until June 2024.
Reporting clinically to the Specialist and Therapeutic Programs Manager and operationally to the area managers, this role plays an important role in supporting persons at risk of death by suicide, those who express suicidal ideation, or post suicide attempt and/or repeated intention self-harm, within the catchment area or Latrobe Regional Hospital Mental Health Service.
The regional HOPE program is staffed with a dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate and supportive team of senior clinicians who have strong support process in place along with a well-established supervision process to ensure your success in this role.

We are looking for candidates with:
6. Good leadership and problem-solving skills
7. Advanced assessment skills and confidence in guiding consumers to navigate the mental health and physical wellbeing streams
8. Advanced risk formulation ability
9. A keen interest in suicide prevention and ability to engage with vulnerable consumers and their families/carers
10. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
