Our clients are the owners and operators of major infrastructure that is critical to our community.Based in the Illawarra, Ventia's 'NSW Industrial' business group provides a range of contract maintenance and miscellaneous services for various clients, including our longstanding BlueScope at the Port Kembla Steelworks.The Role: The Manuals, Training, Equipment and Commissioning (MTEC) Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the project delivers a successful start-up, seamless transition, and ongoing safe, compliant, reliable, cost-effective operation of the plant and new and upgraded machinery and equipment.Key Responsibilities: Establish and deliver MTEC systems and processes for Project Prime.Deliver the capital scope of the ASMAP Project.Manage and monitor the authorised project budget.Exercise control over the MTEC workstream.Facilitate relationships between the project and the customer.Contribute to the systems, processes, tools, standards, and checks to ensure the highest quality practices are embedded in all aspects of the mechanical/maintenance engineering scope including design management and control, drafting services, document management, and risk management.Ensure that project planning systems include key operations, maintenance, training deliverables, and commissioning activities and milestones.About You: Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards.Tertiary qualification in Engineering - Electrical.Relevant industry experience.OHS General Construction Card (White Card).NSW Drivers License.Results driven and proactive nature.Effective communication skills - written and verbal.Diversity: Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents, and cultures that our people bring to the organisation.
