Job Title: Projects Audit Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Projects Audit Manager to join our team at Westpac. As a key member of our Group Audit function, you will be responsible for planning and executing independent reviews of major projects and programs across the Westpac Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and experience in internal audit, particularly in large organisations. You will also have excellent analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to draw insights from analysis and communicate complex ideas effectively.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing the planning and execution of delivery risk reviews, including identification of strategic and project delivery risks and controls.
- Continuously monitoring portfolios of projects and programs for emerging risks and performing issue management activities.
- Finding insights that form the basis of key messages reported to key governance committees on a quarterly basis.

Requirements:
- Substantial years of experience in project management
- Internal audit experience in a large organisation, particularly experience of auditing change activities at project, program and portfolio level
- End-to-end understanding of the investment allocation, delivery risk and benefits realisation process
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
