Key duties and responsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of a major website uplift project (working with an external vendor), ensuring alignment with user needs, business objectives, and government standards.Working with a vendor, lead the delivery of a multi-channel content strategy which will set the direction for both content, technology and information architecture enhancements for the website based on user journeys, user research and testing.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk.Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.Manage the rollout of the website uplift, overseeing technical integrations, testing and working with the content designer on content design and migration.Implement agile project management principles, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement.Support change management, stakeholder engagement and communications to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the enhanced website.Ensure compliance with the Digital Service Standard (DSS), Digital Experience Policy, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).Skills and experienceProven experience managing large-scale web or digital projects, ideally within government or complex organisations.Strong understanding of Australian Government digital standards, including WCAG, and the Digital Experience Policy.Experience leading website redevelopment or uplift projects, including content migration, accessibility improvements, and UX enhancements.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.Familiarity with content management systems, web technologies, and digital analytics. Experience delivering website projects in GovCMS SaaS desirable.Experience managing external vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.Ability to navigate government approval processes, compliance requirements, and risk management.Technical skillsEL1 equivalent Experience for this role.
