Where you'll be working:
1. Special Care Nursery at Tamworth Hospital is an 8-bed unit and operates as a Level 3 service, caring for neonates.
2. As a Registered Nurse in the Special Care Nursery, you will be responsible for the delivery of quality, safe and compassionate care of neonates.
3. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team to support patients, families, and their carers to meet their individualised care needs.
4. Our capability enables the delivery of Non-Invasive Ventilation therapies including Bubble CPAP & High Flow.
5. We have a particular interest in providing exceptional Developmental Care in conjunction with a dynamic allied health team.
6. You will be supported by our Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator and Team Leader and have access to ongoing career progression and development opportunities, as well as access to health and wellbeing programs.
About you:
7. Current AHPRA Registration (applicants without AHPRA registration will not be considered)
8. Experience within a Neonatal environment.
9. Works collaboratively as a part of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care and service delivery that meets the needs of the patients, their families, and carers.
10. Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively work with the multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and visitors.

Rural Health Incentives:
