The Role
Seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Subiaco Head Office.
This position is responsible for performing all activities necessary to process two or more payrolls, including maintaining related records.
We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and proactive in their work style.
Responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain accurate weekly payroll processes using PayGlobal and TimeTarget (end-to-end payroll) Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies Prepare end-of-month reporting Assist in managing and processing superannuation contributions and state payroll tax Interpret and review enterprise agreements and awards Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations Liaise with, and support the HR and Finance teams Work closely with Payroll Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous experience in a similar role Experience in Payroll Processing Experience with PayGlobal or TimeTarget (preferable but not essential) Experience working with Enterprise Agreements is an advantage Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment Excellent computer and Microsoft application skills
