As Senior Civil Designer, you will assist in the delivery of Council’s capital works program through the provision of civil design services.This role is an important one within our team, playing a key role in the development and mentorship of the Civil Designers within the team, including our current and future Trainee and Cadets.This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangementBase Salary Range: $84,031 - $113,695 pa based on 35 hours + 11.5% superannuation + $18,619.19 motor vehicle allowance + $2,312 retention allowance + civil liability allowanceYou will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond TerraceSome of the key responsibilities within this role are listed below:Provide timely, accurate and detailed design plans and specifications, works as executed, plans and contract documentation for civil works projects to current industry and best practiceMentoring of staff and/or contractors undertaking civil design worksPreparation and administration of consultant’s briefsContinuous improvement initiatives incorporating the systematic review of policies, practices and proceduresWe’re all about putting the right people, in the right role!
