The General Manager has responsibility for a significant and dynamic business, with more than 60 staff. Prestige is growing strongly and has big ambitions. The successful candidate will be empowered with autonomy and support for growth. What you'll do We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team in this exciting period of change and progression. The successful candidate will drive excellent business performance across all aspects of the Prestige business, including: Driving outstanding quality and quantity in our nursery operations across propagation, small pots, and trees. Delivering outstanding customer satisfaction through our key account management sales team. Managing our delivery transport fleet of heavy vehicles. Managing key commercial relationships of the business. Fostering our customer service and safety first culture through your leadership and actions. What you'll need Demonstrated expertise in horticulture. Prestige Plants has one of the largest and most diverse plant catalogues in Australia. Excellent people leadership and management skills and a passion for operational excellence. Strong understanding of major projects, ideally in construction and/or landscaping. Excellence in building and growing long-term customer relationships. Very strong commercial understanding and the ability to translate these insights into action items.
