We are looking for a driven Chef with proven breakfast experience to join our team at our restaurant located in Drysdale on Bellarine Peninsula.
Duties and attributes:
* Cooking: Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with the the restaurant menu
* Managing inventory: Ordering stock, stocktaking, and monitoring portion and waste control
* Assisting with other services: Assisting with prep for lunch and dinner service
* Maintaining kitchen safety: Ensuring the kitchen is safe and sanitary, and that all kitchen staff follow proper food handling procedures
* Maintaining kitchen standards: Maintaining the highest level of standards in the kitchen and in the execution and delivery of all dishes
* Preparing ingredients: Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
* Delegating tasks: Delegating tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner
* Performing other duties: Undertaking duties as set you by the Head Chef or management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
