Manage & Optimize Energy Reservoir Operations Join an Inquisitive & Experienced Team Lochard Energy are committed to operational excellence, continually evolving and maintain high safety standards throughout the organisation. We are now recruiting a Reservoir Production Engineer to join our established team. In joining our team, you will be naturally intrigued by the way our environment, in particular, our underground gas storage reservoirs are changing and how we may react accordingly. Reporting to the Principal Reservoir Engineer, the successful candidate will be based at our Southbank office in Melbourne, with occasional travel to the Gas storage facility in Port Campbell. Your responsibilities include and are not limited to: Reservoir Operations Take a lead and integrate with our team of operations, commercial and subsurface colleagues, to manage the day to day reservoir operations; Undertake subsurface analyses and assessment; Develop and analyse reservoir management strategies for seasonal planning. Regulatory & Data Reporting Develop regulatory documents including reservoir development plans and frequent reports; Coordinate reservoir surveillance data campaigns and data analyses; Manageme dashboard reporting for internal stakeholders. The Requirements 7 - 14 years of relevant experience, including being a successful team member with the likes of subsurface engineers, geophysicists and/or reservoir engineers; Tertiary qualifications, with an Engineering or Science degree; Excellent verbal and written skills, with the demonstrated ability to work efficiently with external regulators and integrate with cross functional teams; Extensive competence in production engineering and reservoir surveillance with knowledge of gas processing principles, including but not limited to safety systems; Competency in reservoir engineering concepts, material balance, well-bore hydraulics, fluid dynamics an geo-mechanics; Proficient in the use of IPM suite and reservoir simulation, eg, Petrel/Eclipse and; Inquisitive individual who has the self drive and appetite to develop.
