• Developing, implementing and maintaining effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resource, finance, asset, performance reporting and business processes.
• Providing timely, high-quality advice and support to the manager.
• Managing the business processes relating to the human, financial and physical resources, including preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure, reconciliations and management of accommodation and assets.
• Participating as a member of the Leadership Team and contributing to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision making.
• Liaising with clients, Departmental officers and other government and nongovernment organisations as necessary.
• Enhancing the local community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving client service.
• Attend to all matters relating to the management, maintenance and leasing of office accommodation, plant and equipment, motor vehicles and other assets.
