About the role Enerven is now seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Construction Manager to manage the detailed civil works for various electrical infrastructure projects. Projects will be spread across metro and regional South Australia, and will include a mix of Substation, Lines Work and Renewable projects.
You will be responsible for managing and completing projects in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner through the diligent management of people, subcontractors and resources. The Civil Construction Manager actively provides leadership and guidance to construction crews, as well as coordinating day to day operations, managing budget, planning and scheduling of work.
This role is based at Direk, however, approx. 60-80% of the year will be spent working away from Adelaide on project construction sites. The most common roster is 11:3 roster working 10hr days (over time at double time and travel allowances apply), but rosters will sometimes vary depending on the requirements of different projects.
