If you're ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.About the TeamAs a Staff Product Designer in our customer Onboarding Team at Airwallex, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility of design and craft experiences that seamlessly connect our customers’ needs with Airwallex’s product capabilities as they onboard onto our platform. Your role will be instrumental in shaping user experiences that are both intuitive and effective.What you'll doYou'll be leading projects and improvements to our customer Onboarding processes and experiences. Gathering the requirements of our different internal domains, our customers, and delivering World Class improvements and optimisations to our customer Onboarding experience. You will also provide coaching and mentoring to the more junior members of this team.Responsibilities:Support and shape the evolution of Airwallex from a design perspective; ensure consistency with and contribute to our brand and product architecture.Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Product Strategists, and Writers to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and drive innovative new solutions.Successfully develop and launch high-quality work that advances our mission of growing businesses beyond borders.Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to more junior designers.Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside of core product teams; strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.Have a keen understanding of research methods, technological, business and user opportunities and constraints.Scopes project work (in partnership with PMs and engineers) and helps define the design process and timeline.Have a good understanding of Figma and other industry-standard design/research tools.Qualifications:7+ years of experience in product design within a software environment.Excellent UX, visual and interaction skills and craft — a master in your field.Defines the design direction and process and can lead others through it.Experience with making complex information, tools, and services easily digestible for your audience.Strong storytelling, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience designing for SaaS products.Equal opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
