The Application Design Engineer will be responsible for working with our sales team, customers, and consultants to design and price solutions that meet the customers' requirements while putting Schneider in a winning position.
Our projects range from small to large technical services packages with high levels of system integration and can be on construction sites or within operating Data Centers.
Responsibilities Build sales plan and execute in partnership with sales team.
Act as the technical interface between sales and sales support, Line of Business, and customers in line with the regional business strategy.
Identify opportunities in cooperation with sales team.
Assist sales with a higher level of expertise in front of selected customers.
Work as part of the GCP RAC team, attend team meetings, 1 to 1 sessions with manager, and project sales updates.
Deliver project solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
Manage solutions to ensure margin and profitability is maintained.
Ensure compliance with the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process.
Manage risk and opportunity across all projects.
Ideal Candidate 5 years' experience as an Application Engineer/Solution architect within the Data Center Industry including but not limited to design, calculation, and strong technical knowledge of Power Systems Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and Electrical installations.
Leading initiatives to develop innovative UPS/Batteries solutions, power distribution, monitoring, and DCIM to meet evolving client needs.
Experience in preparing costing, BOM, proposals, ensuring that technical specifications align with client requirements and expectations.
