The rolePart of the Supply Relationship Leadership team, as our new Commercial Manager you will be responsible for network optimisation, capacity and supplier performance. Your core focus will be creating a competitive landscape through effective network optimization and driving world class contract management performance with an emphasis on strategic and complex insurance repair supplier engagement.You will:Identify and realise market and internal opportunities to create competitive advantagesHave oversight of supplier relationships and developing new commercial relationships to right size the growing scale of our network of repairers and parts suppliersMaintain relationships with key stakeholders to become a highly valued contract expert including being the central liaison between the Commercial Team and contract suppliersDeliver & refine re-engineering programs that develop a true, cost effective Repair Service Platform and fully utilise the investment in technologiesIn consultation with the relevant internal stakeholders, develop and implement appropriate supplier management and assessing strategies that meet the company’s overall objectivesDevelop and implement policies with regards to supplier management; advanced commercial techniques; strategic sourcing or supply process improvements; & systems and tools to monitor and manage contract deliverables, service levels and commercial outcomesOversee the network’s performance, ensuring alignment between cost control methodologies and customer service/brand reputation outcomesSupport drafting of high-quality contract documents and carry out contract variations, including updating or expanding scopes of servicesProvide contract management support to project teams throughout the contract life cycle and provide guidance to others in your team, while engaging in high level strategic planning for the business, providing training as requiredWhat experience you’ll bring:Claims and/or significant Insurance Industry experience preferredSignificant experience utilising large datasets to surface insights and make recommendationsDemonstrated advanced experience utilising software packages including PowerBI, Excel, Audanet, etc to harness the power of data for decision makingDemonstrated best practice strategic procurement, including centralisation of commercial strategies and achievement of significant cost savingsSignificant knowledge of the delivery of services and products through traditional Customer Service channels as well as Digital and Omni Channel strategiesA track record of exploiting technology to solve customer and operational challenges in large enterprise environments would be an advantageDemonstrated success at implementing and delivering on operational efficiency & business process enhancement initiativesDemonstrated negotiation skills, superior communication skills with a strong knowledge of legislative frameworks preferredOur Perks:Location – This role can be based at either our North Lakes or Kawana Waters sites.
