As the Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of this flagship store. You will lead by example, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and inspiring your team to achieve sales targets and uphold the brand's reputation as a market leader.
Our client is a well-established national homewares retailer, offering a diverse range of products that cater to everyday needs and stylish living. Known for their quality and value, they're committed to delivering an exceptional shopping experience through knowledgeable service and a carefully curated collection of home and kitchenware essentials.
As they continue to expand, they are looking for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead their flagship store and contribute to their continued success.
The Role:
* Lead, mentor, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding service and achieve performance targets
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all store activities align with brand standards and goals
* Drive sales through effective merchandising, stock management, and promotional strategies
* Maintain a strong understanding of current and upcoming trends to keep the store's product offerings fresh and relevant
* Build lasting relationships with customers by providing expert advice and personalised recommendations
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to drive store performance
What we are looking for:
* Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume sales environment, ideally as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving a high-performing team
* Passion for homewares, design, and staying on top of the latest trends
* Strong budget management skills and the ability to identify business opportunities
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
* Flexibility to work weekends and late trading hours as required
* Physically fit to handle the daily challenges of this high volume environment
* Keen eye for visual merchandising and an understanding of how to create an inspiring retail environment
