Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)As our future House Manager, you will oversee the operations and management of multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) Homes across inner South-West Adelaide. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities, financial management, and strategic direction of our SIL services. This role is essential in ensuring our commitment to serving the community effectively while providing dedicated support to our valued Participants.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Homes.Lead and model effective person-centred practices by working individually with participants, supporting their goals, engaging with families, and collaborating with local service providers.Implementations of Restrictive Practices.Medication Management.Monthly Site Audits.Follow organisation Participant Risk Management Plan.Complete participant risk assessment.Follow the organisation work health & Safety Policies and Procedures.Ensure the team provides high-quality support aligned with participant care plans and outcomes.Develop rosters, allocate staff according to participants’ needs, and manage planned leave.Provide onboarding, orientation, and training to new employees to support their growth and engagement.Conduct monthly team meetings and supervision to assess team performance.Conduct monthly Participants get-togethers for feedback and Continuous Improvement.Collaborate with staff, participants, families, and stakeholders to address and resolve concerns.Manage on-site support, review incidents, and address complaints.Ensure staff adherence to Western Care's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.Ensure staff have mandatory compliance documents completed and uploaded.Robust Rostering schedule completed fortnightly.Ensure monthly team meetings and supervisions are conducted and reported to the People and Quality Manager.Conduct Monthly site inspections and prepare monthly report to the People and Quality Manager.Work within budget lines by the People and Quality Manager.Work within calendar months to ensure smooth operations schedule are maintained.Conduct monthly participant feedback for data collection and implementation of continuous improvement register for all sites.Core RequirementsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL) with a strong understanding of the NDIS.Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver quality outcomes.Skilled in planning, time management, problem-solving, and achieving quality outcomes.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team.Understanding of community services, networks, and supports.Experience with behavioural management plans, restrictive practices, high medical needs, manual handling, and medication administration.Empathy and a genuine passion for making a difference.Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a House Manager?Do you have experience preparing work rosters?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?How many years of people management experience do you have?Which of the following First Aid accreditations do you currently hold?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
