This position reports to the Trans-Tasman Contract Manager and is responsible for the management/governance and delivery of the hard and soft services for the associated sites in QLD, NSW and NT.Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you will take full accountability for the delivery of all Downer related activity within the client premises and the coordination/completion of all assigned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure all contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications and other contractual requirements are achieved.What you'll do Promote and maintain a commitment to Zero Harm across all service lines.The single escalation point for sites where Downer does not have a dedicated site representative.Accountable for the Downer budget for the relevant state.Accountable for the monthly reporting and KPI regime for the relevant state (Downer Project Status Report).Oversee contract variations and scope management in alignment with client expectations.Coordinate contract reporting and present at periodic meetings with the client.What you'll bring Extensive experience as a facilities manager.Experience in operations management.Experience dealing with trades and subcontractors or a trade background.General OH&S induction to the building and Construction Industry.Solid experience in the delivery of contract services where subcontractors are used for reactive and planned maintenance.More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.Why work for us?
