NETWORK MANAGER (Full time, permanent) Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College is seeking an outstanding candidate for the full time position of IT Network Manager. The Network Manager works as part of a highly professional, customer-service oriented ICT team. The role will be based in the College's ICT Projects Team and will secure the College's network infrastructure, manage server and storage systems, and oversee network security protocols. This role requires a proactive approach to network management, ensuring a high level of system availability and performance. The successful applicant will be a person who has: Tertiary qualifications/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Extensive experience in network and server management, preferably within an educational setting Expertise in Extreme branded wireless and switching technologies and/or expertise in managing and maintaining an equivalent enterprise network stack Proficiency in managing virtualized environments, particularly with Windows and Linux servers Strong understanding of network security practices, including firewalls and web filtering Experience in high-level support and technology rollouts Supports the Catholic ethos of the College As a school community, Monte places a strong emphasis on collegiality and professional development.
