Library Programs – Home Visits 0.8FTE – permanent ongoing Fulltime 6 month contract Level 3, Salary $81,778 to $87,744 FTE + Superannuation + Income Protection The Town of Gawler is seeking an experienced and passionate Library Programs – Home Visits Officer to help us make a meaningful impact in our community. The Library Programs – Home Visits Officer will use their knowledge, skills and expertise in the operation of the Library Home Visits Service, ensuring that eligible community members who are unable to visit the library for themselves can still borrow library items and access library services. Working within the Library Programs team, this position also supports that team by planning and delivering other programs, or assisting with other programs as required. Library desk duties are also a core component of this role. Key objectives of the position are:Planning and co-ordination of the Library Home Visits Service, including volunteer management.Planning and delivering other programs with the Library Programs team, including those for children.Taking part in outreach events to raise the profile of the Library, and to engage with community members who may not normally use the Library.Library desk duties and day-to-day library operations – providing excellent customer and information services. This position works across both library sites and is required to work evening and weekend shifts in accordance with the Library roster. Occasional after-hours and weekend work is required for programs.
